CSU LiDAR 1 participates in the 7th CREATE Congress

The CSU LiDAR 1 Project Team participated during the 7th Caraga Region Engineering, Architecture and Technology Educators (CREATE) Congress held last March 23, 2015 at the Robinson’s Place, Butuan City.

Engr. Lorie Cris Asube, Project Staff and CEIT Faculty Member, presented a background of the project to participants during the plenary sessions of the Congress in behalf of the Project Leader, Engr. Meriam M. Santillan.

The project team also showcased the project and its outputs during the the Congress by setting-up an exhibit booth. The booth was eagerly visited and appreciated by Congress participants who came from various State Universities and Colleges, Higher Education Institutions, key government agencies, and non-grovernment agencies within Caraga Region.

As the Congress progresses, the CSU LiDAR 1 exhibit continues to be crowded by interested participants.

The CSU LiDAR 1 team explained major aspects of the project: its background, project areas, expected outputs, and its benefits to the Caraga Region communities.

The 7th CREATE Congress was held with the theme CREATE: Committed to a Resilient And Technologically-Empowered Society (or CREATE CREATES). It was aimed to provide Engineering, Architecture and Technology Educators updates in the topics of Disaster Risk Reduction thru the application of RS/GIS; to provide avenue for the students to showcase and present their projects and researches; and to provide students and faculty with the latest trend in Engineering, Architecture and Technology.
